I'm trying to install Office 2011 for Mac. I was able to download the software (using a link that's accessible for Office365 users with a subscription) onto my machine but I can't get it to install. I get the notice 'Verifying 'Office Installer' (see below) but then it never verifies it and the window just stays open. I went into my system preferences and changed my security settings (see below) to make sure that there wasn't some issue with this download being tagged as being from an 'outside developer' but it's still not working. I recently downloaded Office 2016 using a link through my Office365 account with no issue, so I don't think it's my computer. I find the 2016 version of Excel to be unusable and really need to get the old version back! Any suggestions would be very helpful. I'm wondering if it could be some security issues that's preventing the installer from verifying. I'm using a 2013 MacBook Air, running El Capitan 10.11.5.
